The WCTCOG grant program covers a 19-county region in our area.
Eligible Counties Include:
Brown, Callahan, Coleman, Comanche, Eastland, Fisher, Haskell, Jones, Kent, Knox, Mitchell, Nolan, Runnels, Scurry, Shackelford, Stephens, Stonewall, Taylor, and Throckmorton.

The program offers a 50% rebate, up to $3,000, for the installation of a FEMA certified safe room/storm shelter. Before installation can begin, the homeowner must complete an application and receive an approval letter from the WCTCOG.
